We’re really feeling the Brooklyn duo, Beacon. On their new EP, For Now. The band dives deep into the exploration of the dark spaces under the surface of human relationships. The first single (featured above), “Feeling’s Gone,” is the perfect companion for the atmospheric wayfarer caught in reflection. All songs on the EP have a prominent theme of fractured love, particularly the distinction between love and lust, and what happens when the former falls away, leaving only the latter to fester: as lead singer Thomas Mullarney sings on third track “Pulse”, “It’s a long walk from lust to love… And if I get caught, it’s not my fault.”
